01. How long does it take to digitize our existing records? +

It depends on the volume and format of your records. A small cemetery with a few hundred plots can be fully digitized in about a week. Larger operations with thousands of plots and decades of paper records typically take two to four weeks. We handle the data entry; your staff's involvement is minimal.

02. Do we need any special equipment or software? +

No. RestWell runs entirely in a web browser. Any modern computer, tablet, or phone with internet access is sufficient. There is nothing to install, no server to maintain, and no IT department required.

03. What happens to our data if we stop using RestWell? +

Your data belongs to you, unconditionally. You can export everything at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF, or structured data). If you cancel, we provide a complete data export and retain your records for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to transition.

04. Can families access memorial pages without creating an account? +

Yes. Memorial pages are accessible via a direct link or through the public search portal. No account is needed to view a memorial. Families who want to contribute photos, stories, or messages can create a free account, but viewing is always open.

05. Is our data secure? +

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use role-based access controls so staff members see only what they need. Backups run daily. We do not sell or share your data with any third party, ever.

06. Can funeral homes access the system directly? +

Yes, if you choose to enable it. Funeral directors can be granted portal access to request dates, view plot availability, and share service details. Their access is limited to scheduling functions; they cannot see your internal records or financial data.

07. Does it work for all types of cemeteries? +

RestWell supports traditional in-ground cemeteries, lawn cemeteries, mausoleum complexes, columbaria, memorial gardens, and mixed-type properties. The platform adapts to your property's specific layout and terminology.

08. How much does it cost? +

During the founding partner pilot, nothing. After public launch, pricing will be a flat monthly fee based on cemetery size, not per-plot. Founding partners lock in a permanent discount. We do not charge setup fees, per-record fees, or surprise add-ons.

09. How much training does our staff need? +

About two hours for a typical team. We tailor training to each role — front office, groundskeeping, administration — so everyone learns only what they'll actually use. Most staff are comfortable working independently within a few days.

10. Can we import records from other cemetery software? +

Yes. We accept imports from all major cemetery management systems as well as spreadsheets, databases, and even scanned paper records. Our migration team handles the conversion; you don't need to reformat anything.

11. When does RestWell launch publicly? +

Public launch is planned for later in 2026. The founding partner pilot is active now with capacity for additional cemeteries. Pilot participants lock in founding-member pricing permanently and keep their full data history through the transition.
