§ 01What the platform is
RestWell is a digital management tool designed for cemeteries. It digitizes plot records, manages bookings and scheduling, and generates virtual memorial pages for families. The platform is built to bring cemetery operations into a modern, searchable, shareable format — replacing paper binders, hand-drawn maps, and scattered spreadsheets with a single source of truth.
§ 02What it produces
The platform produces digitized plot maps, interment records, booking schedules, and public memorial pages. These outputs are derived from data you provide during onboarding and ongoing use. The quality and accuracy of outputs depend directly on the quality and accuracy of the data entered.
§ 03It is not a legal records system
RestWell is an operational management tool. It is not a certified municipal or county records system. Digitized records should be treated as a working reference, not as a legal replacement for official burial permits, deeds, or government-filed documents. Where legal compliance requires original records, consult those originals.
§ 04Data accuracy limitations
During onboarding, we digitize records from whatever source material your cemetery provides — paper ledgers, spreadsheets, hand-drawn maps, card files. Historical records are often incomplete, inconsistent, or difficult to read. We work carefully, but we cannot guarantee that every transcription is perfect. We flag ambiguities when we find them, and we encourage ongoing verification as your team uses the platform.
§ 05Cost estimates are approximate
If the platform provides pricing guidance for plots, services, or packages, these figures are based on information you configure. Actual costs to families depend on your cemetery’s current pricing, available inventory, and any agreements already in place. RestWell displays what you tell it to display.
§ 06Coverage varies
The platform works best for cemeteries with reasonably organized existing records. Sites with extensive undocumented sections, unmarked graves, or records lost to fire, flood, or neglect will require more manual effort and may have gaps that persist in the digital version. We are transparent about what can and cannot be reconstructed.
§ 07The platform improves over time
We continuously refine RestWell based on feedback from partner cemeteries. New features, improved mapping tools, and better workflows ship regularly. If something feels incomplete or missing, tell us — founding partners have direct influence on what we build next.
§ 08Your judgment matters
You are responsible for the operational decisions you make using RestWell. The platform is a tool to organize information and streamline workflows; it does not replace professional judgment, institutional knowledge, or the care your staff brings to their work every day. When a record looks wrong, trust your team’s experience and verify before acting on it.
